Mr. Oleg Osipov is a seasoned diplomat and journalist with diverse and extensive experience. He completed his education in 1987, graduating from the International Department of the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University.

With an unwavering experience of three decades, Mr. Osipov has held various significant roles, starting his career as a literary contributor to the weekly "Novoe Vremya" in 1987, he, later, also served as a TASS correspondent in Zimbabwe, Cote d’Ivoire, Italy, and the Vatican from 1990 to 2005. Due to his expertise in journalism and diplomatic affairs, he was also appointed as the Deputy Editor-in-chief of the International Portal Priority National Projects in 2006. From 2010 to 2019, Mr. Osipov served as the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Italy before assuming his current position as the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in India in 2022. Fluent in multiple languages including Italian, English, French, Bulgarian, and Afrikaans, Mr. Osipov brings a wealth of experience and linguistic proficiency to his diplomatic endeavors, contributing significantly to cultural and bilateral relations between Russia and the countries he serves.
