An exceptional blend of academic prowess and visionary leadership, Prof. S.K. Washim is renowned for his transparent approach and adeptness in addressing diverse concerns. He is a degree holder of MD General Physician from Tver State Medical University, Russia, a postgraduate from the Department of Medicine, and a Doctorate from the Public Health & Social Medicine. During his entire tenure of academic achievements, Prof. Washim has served the student community by joining the University Administration in various positions such as Deputy Dean for Foreign Students and Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor for Foreign Students of TSMU between 2002-2017.

Throughout his illustrious career, Prof. Washim has held esteemed positions, including lecturer and professor in premier government universities in Russia, alongside this, he has served as an advisor to the Deputy Head of the Committee of International Affairs (Russian Federal Parliament). His expertise lies in the domain of Public Health Programs and the formulation of strategies for enhancing public health. Driven by a passion for education and student welfare, he has played key roles within university administrations, nurturing foreign students and guiding them toward success.
