About the University

Far Eastern Federal University traces its history back to 1899 and is one of the largest universities in the Russian Far East and the Asia-Pacific region. In 2013, the university moved to its modern campus on Russky Island in Vladivostok, creating a unique academic environment where advanced education, research, and international collaboration come together.

FEFU has 12 institutes, more than 1,600 academic and research staff, over 160 laboratories, and 250+ educational programs. The university welcomes around 5,000 international students from more than 80 countries and maintains partnerships with 200+ foreign universities and research centres across the Asia-Pacific region.

The university offers strong programs in international relations, medicine, dentistry, biotechnology, engineering, robotics, energy, and computer technologies. With its island campus, own medical centre, research facilities, and global partnerships, FEFU prepares students for international careers.
