About the University

St. Petersburg State Agrarian University offers a wide range of educational programs from undergraduate to doctoral levels. The university is actively involved in agricultural research and development, working closely with educational institutions, research centres, employers, and regional leaders to support innovation in the agro-industrial sector.

The university currently enrols over 7,000 students from different regions of Russia, including more than 300 international students from 42 countries. Its academic environment combines professional education, research activity, practical exposure, and industry interaction to prepare students for careers in agriculture and related fields.

SPbSAU's strategic projects address major development challenges in the region and the country's agro-industrial complex. Over the past four years, the university has attracted many new business partners and opened more than 20 branded classrooms equipped with modern visual learning aids and industry-relevant resources.
