Krasnoyarsk State Medical University stands as a premier institution in Siberia and the Far East, holding 17th place among Medical Universities in Russia and the 3rd place in its region. Established in 1942 as Krasnoyarsk Medical Institute, it merged with the Leningrad Medical Institute and Leningrad Pediatric Dental Institute. 

Over its history, it has expanded to include faculties such as pediatrics, dentistry, nursing education, and pharmacy. With a legacy of training over 30,000 medical professionals, including doctors, pediatricians, dentists, and public health managers, the university continues to evolve. Currently enrolling approximately 800 students across all faculties, it has opened new departments and laboratories in recent years and engages in international collaborations with universities worldwide. With 66 departments and a dedicated staff of 690 professors and teachers, Krasnoyarsk State Medical University remains committed to excellence in medical education and research.
