University of Science and Technology MISIS is the leading university in Russia in the field of creation, implementation and application of new technologies and materials. It is located in the heart of Russia’s capital – Moscow. This multinational city has a rich cultural heritage, and is now being recognised by its impressive digital infrastructure. There are more than 45 world-class laboratories and engineering centers where leading Russian and international scientists work with the most breakthrough areas, implementing joint projects with partners – the largest research organizations and high-tech companies in the world.

Each year, MISIS University increases the number of young researchers, who are starting their journey in science from the student years, participating in science battles and conferences, and achieve success, becoming winners of the all-Russian competitions, grant and award holders in the field of science and innovation.

The university has lots of extracurricular activities – sports, arts and music collectives, scientific events and others. The International Student Council organizes trips and events for its members and manages a number of activities within the university, including sports, culture and education. There is also an International Friendship Club, which helps foreign students adapt to life in Russia, make new friends, improve their language skills and successfully prepare for exams.

Students live in conveniently located and well-equipped dormitories, and have access to a variety of leisure facilities. In each residence there are computer labs, laundry rooms, recreation centers, swimming pools and cafes.
