Established in 1920, Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia BN Yeltsin, is an educational institution formed by merging two universities the Ural State Technical University and Ural State University. It is one of the best universities in Russia. The university not only trains students from Russia but from different countries of the world. The university's exceptional academic programs have led to its recognition as the 13th best among Russian universities according to the 2022 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.
As the largest federal university in Russia, Ural Federal University (UrFU) boasts 14 educational buildings that operates 12 institutes for the education, training and research of students in various fields. With 16 dormitories, and 19 sports facilities, along with 438 multimedia classrooms, UrFU provides a comprehensive learning environment.
