Founded in 1865, Moscow Polytechnic University is one of the leading technical educational institutions of tsarist Russia. The university was established in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia through the reorganization in the form of a merger of the University of Mechanical Engineering (MAMI) and the Moscow State University of Printing Arts named after Ivan Fedorov (MSUP).
Moscow Polytechnic University has 6 branches, 5 academic buildings, 10 dormitories and technical facility classes, and 13 sports facilities. Additionally, the university houses auditoriums, educational and scientific laboratories, computer classes, gyms, sports and recreation facilities, and a scientific and technical library with printed and electronic publications, canteens, and buffets. Currently, the university has 9 faculty and 6 institutes including others offering 275+ Educational programs. Furthermore, the university is hosting more than 867 faculty members who are supporting 13600+ students including 1500+ foreign students from more than 69 countries.
Moscow Polytechnic University offers project-based learning to students from the first year until graduation, which allows students to combine theory with practical learning.
